organizations, allowing members to share experience and information.
The site includes a searchable database of around 6,500 NGOs, as
well as a wealth of other information and links, including details
of the one percent project on tax legislation encouraging giving to
NGOs in CEE.
The Development Gateway puts the
Internet to work for developing countries. We provide innovative
Internet solutions for effective aid and e-government – increasing
access to critical information, building local capacity and bringing
partners together for positive change. -

CEE Trust - Trust for Civil Society in
Central and Eastern Europe The CEE Trust has been conceived as a
mechanism for helping the transition to independent, active and viable
networks of organizations and citizens working for the public good. Its
major goal has been to promote the development of civil societies in
Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and

The Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)
Directory is designed to help anyone seeking information about
environmental organizations working in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).
The database, updated in 2001, contains contact information for over
2700 organizations from 15 CEE countries. You can also

The European Center for Not-For-Profit Law (ENCL) Based in Budapest,
ECNL is a Hungarian public benefit organization. ECNL works to promote
the strengthening of a supportive legal environment for civil society in
