CEE Trust - Trust for Civil Society in
Central and Eastern Europe The CEE Trust has been conceived as a
mechanism for helping the transition to independent, active and viable
networks of organizations and citizens working for the public good. Its
major goal has been to promote the development of civil societies in
Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and

IGOR GOLINSKI is a lawyer and expert on legislation in the field of
non-governmental organisations at the Association for the Forum of
Non-Governmental Initiatives (FIP), a position he has held since 2001.
He is in charge of monitoring legislation, organising consultations with
NGOs, promoting legal solutions for the non-profit sector and other
advocacy activities for NGOs.
The IPA is a non-partisan public policy think tank launched in 1995 to
provide a forum for informed debate on social and political issues. It
conducts research and analysis, and presents policy recommendations.

ARFP provides consultancy services for
prospective donors, organises seminars and training sessions regarding
philanthropic initiatives, and organises community foundation-related
workshops and conferences for local government representatives. In the
1990s Mr Lukasiak played a very active role in developing the Third
Sector in Poland, co-founding and managing the Support Office for the
Movement of Self-Help Initiatives as part of the Citizens? Committee of
the Solidarity Union, co-founding the BORIS Foundation and the Office
for Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organisations at the Ministry of
Labour and Social Policy, and managing the PHARE SED and Democratic
Network Projects.
The Foundation implements its statutory
goals by providing support to individual scientists and research teams,
and by supporting investment initiatives which facilitate the
development of science in Poland; it also undertakes actions aimed at
easing the transfer of innovative technologies from research
laboratories.
