Oak Foundation focuses on global social and environmental concerns. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, the Foundation is particularly interested in addressing issues that impact the lives of the disadvantaged. During 2010 the Foundation made grants to 271 non profit organisations headquartered in 41 countries. The minimum grant size is $25,000. There is no deadline for applications. The Foundation has firm, specific guidelines which describe the scope of its seven grant-making programmes.
