We’ve had a fair number of new product donations in the TechSoup catalog recently. We thought you might like to see what’s new and also some product donations that are great, but not getting enough attention. As so many of us gear up for the end of the fiscal year, here’s our spring list of hidden gems of the TechSoup catalog.

Airbnb Social Impact Experiences
We’ll kick this off with a completely original, new, and free fundraising service for charities, churches, and libraries. Airbnb, the online community for booking unique homes and travel experiences around the world, recently launched social impact experiences. If your nonprofit meets the eligibility criteria, hosting a social impact experience is free.
Your charity can host local workshops, activities, and tours so guests can get to know your cause. One hundred percent of what guests pay goes directly to your organization. Social impact experiences on Airbnb are a way to raise new funds, generate worldwide awareness, and gain champions for your mission. Find out more on this new way to promote your cause.
AvePoint is a new donation program at TechSoup. It is useful for any charities and libraries that are moving to Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, or OneDrive for Business for document management. It provides Office 365 and SharePoint migration and management solutions. It makes changing over from older Microsoft Office–based systems to the newer online services more manageable and easy to maintain.
Box is a cloud-based online storage service that provides charities and libraries with online file-sharing and storage with robust content management tools. It also is a collaboration service with advanced security and admin controls. Box offers unlimited online document storage at a very low cost. You can use Box to manage and collaborate on your content of any type with staff members and volunteers and to distribute content to beneficiaries.
Mobile Beacon offers Wi-Fi hotspot devices with $10 unlimited 4G mobile broadband data for use when you’re working or traveling in places without Internet access. Libraries across the country are loaning Wi-Fi hotspot devices with mobile broadband to “loan the Internet” to patrons. To see how they’re used, have a look at

Tableau is professional-grade data-visualization software that helps you create powerful, interactive data visualizations in the form of charts and graphs. It can do this from almost any data source. Tableau is designed to help you turn your data into meaningful insights that can improve your work or tell your organization’s story.
Tableau’s intent with this product donation is to empower nonprofits to make a difference with their data. With the right knowledge and tools, the people at Tableau believe every nonprofit can better explore its data and spot trends, outliers, and even new opportunities. For more information, see

Veritas is another new gem of a product donation. Veritas is a company (formerly part of Symantec) that provides backup and recovery software for small office networks. Veritas offers charities and libraries two essential product donations for disaster recovery and also in case of being hacked: Backup Exec and System Recovery.
These backup and recovery applications ensure mission-critical data recovery for both physical and virtual environments. You can back up your data to nearly any storage device, including disk, tape, or third-party cloud services like TechSoup donation partners Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Box. For more intormation, see TechSoup’s Guide to Veritas Recovery and Backup Products.
